After ending a 12 year relationship, Dave Kroupa decided to get back out there, and he signed up for online dating. After several months of dating a few different women, he met Cari Farver. She seemed perfect: incredibly smart, fun, and looking for a casual relationship, like him. But then, after dating for two weeks, Cari texted Dave asking if they should move in together. He was confused - he'd thought they were on the same page, so he told her no. And then he received a message back from Cari filled with vulgar, abusive insults and threats. And the messages didn't stop coming. He received hundreds a day for YEARS. Dave wanted the messages to stop, but Cari Farver could not be found.
